CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-299 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />RE ZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 9+ ACRE PARCEL LOCATED <br />ON FOOTHILL ROAD SOUTH OF FSOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL <br />AT MUIRWOOD DRIVE SOUTH FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) <br />DISTRICT TO THE R-1-20,000 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESI- <br />DENTIAL) DISTRICT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of November 25, 1980 <br />received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning an <br />approximately 9+ acre parcel located on Foothill Road <br />south of Foothiil High School at Muirwood Drive South <br />from A (Agricultural) District to R-1-20,000 (Single- <br />Family Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed zoning change <br />is a project for the purposes of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of November 25, 1980 <br />also received that Initial Study dated October 29, 1980; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed <br />Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council determines that the rezoning of an <br /> approximately 9+ acre parcel located on Foothill Road south <br /> of Foothill Hig~ School at Muirwood Drive South from A <br /> (Agricultural) District to R-1-20,000 (Single-Family <br /> Residential) District would not have any significant <br /> <br /> <br />
