CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-290 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 3 (STOP INTERSECTIONS) BY ADDING SUBSECTION <br />3t-1 REGARDING A STOP SIGN ON TAWNY DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 17, 1980, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated November 7,1980 <br />from the Director of Public Works and Utilities related <br />to the problems of traffic in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 to establish a stop sign on Tawny Drive. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-179 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection 3t-1 as follows: <br /> <br />"3t-1 Tawny Drive, at Touriga Drive; stopping traffic <br /> on Tawny Drive." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 17, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers ~ Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~~C./~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />na nf C~orney <br /> <br /> <br />
