CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-289 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH J. JACK BRAS AND <br />ASSOCIATES FOR DESIGN OF NEW POLICE FACILITY AND <br />AMENDING THE 1980-81 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in May of 1980 the Council selected J. Jack Bras and <br />Associates as architect for the new police facility <br />and authorized him to prepare initial studies and <br />preliminary work to determine the approximate size <br />building required and the estimated cost; and <br /> <br />the initial study has been completed and additional <br />authorization is required for Mr. Bras to continue <br />his work on the design of the police facility. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the City Manager to sign an agreement <br /> with J. Jack Bras and Associates for architectural <br /> services for a new police building, with compensation <br /> to be 7.25 percent of construction cost not to exceed <br /> $90,000. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1980-81 Capital <br /> Improvement Program is amended to increase the appro- <br /> priation for design of the police facility by $28,100.00. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 17, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers ~ Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~R <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />H~v ne~, ~ <br /> i City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
