CITY )UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLE~ NTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-282 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTS NO. <br />17 & 18 TO LOCAL AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT NO. <br />04-5101 FOR FEDERAL AID IMPROVEMENTS, AND AN <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE STATE TO PROVIDE APPRAISAL AND <br />ACQUISITION SERVICES TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton entered into a master agreement for <br />the Federal-Aid Program with the State of California on <br />September 23, 1977 pursuant to the Federal Highway Safety <br />Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of October 28, 1980 <br />received a report dated October 10, 1980, from the Public <br />Works Director together with attachments for approval of <br />Program Supplements No. 17 and 18 for grade crossing <br />improvements at St. Marys Street and Western Pacific <br />Railroad and right-of-way acquisition and construction <br />of a frontage road alongside Western Railroad between <br />Rose Avenue and St. Marys Street, and an agreement from <br />the State to purchase the right-of-way on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Authorizes the execution by the City Manager subject to <br />approval by the City Attorney of Supplements No. 17 and 18 <br />to Local Agency-State Agreement No. 04-5101 for Federal <br />Aid Improvements under the Federal Highway Safety Act, and <br />the agreement to purchase the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Section 2.
