CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-315 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE BY <br />THE CITY TO SHARE WITH THE PLEASANTON CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE THE COST OF PUBLISHING AN INFORMATIONAL <br />BROCHURE ABOUT THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Chamber of Cor~nerce is planning to develop <br />and print a color brochure which will show the business <br />areas in Pleasanton, the City Hall, shopping malls, <br />recreation areas, and the relation of Pleasanton to the <br />greater Bay Area with a number of picutres and graphics; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of December 9, 1980, <br />received a request from the Chamber of Commerce for <br />participation by the City in the cost of publishing <br />the brochure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after discussion, Council determined that it would be <br /> advantageous to have such a brochure to give to interested <br /> persons. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves participation by the City of Pleasanton in <br /> the cost of printing an informational color brochure <br /> about Pleasanton in an additional amount not to exceed <br /> $1,000.00. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 9, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers -Butler, <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABFTAIN: None <br /> <br />Kephart, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Levine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
