CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-337 <br /> <br />kE 0LUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY'OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON <br />CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION AND FIXING SALARIES AND <br />CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF <br />EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1980-81 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br />as employer representative of the City Council, and <br />representatives of the Pleasanton City Employees Assoc- <br />iation have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of <br />Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard <br />to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employ- <br />ment for members of the Pleasanton City Employees <br />Association; and <br /> <br />as a result of the above meeting and conferring process <br />a Memorandum of Understanding dated January 1, 1981, was <br />entered into between the City Manager and representatives <br />of the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at the regular meeting of December 29, 1980. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of Pleasanton City <br /> Employees Association for a term commencing January 1, <br /> 1981 through February 28, 1982, attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> A and incorporated herein, by reference, is hereby accepted <br /> by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to <br /> the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period <br /> January 1, 1981 through February 28, 1982, shall be set <br /> forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 29, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
