CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-335 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING CLAIM OF DONALD ARTHUR MENDENHALL, <br />TERI CAPUTO, AND TERI CAPUTO AS ADMINISTRATRIX OF THE <br />ESTATE OF DONALD LANIER MENDENHALL, DECEASED. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton received a claim on October 3, <br />1980 filed on behalf of Donald Arthur Mendenhall, Teri <br />Caputo, and Teri Caputo as Administratrix of the Estate <br />of Donald Lanier Mendenhall, deceased, in the sum of <br />$1,000,000 for damages as a result of the death of <br />Donald Lanier Mendenhall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 23, 1980, the City Council reviewed the claim <br /> and determined that it should be denied. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim presented on October 3, 1980 against the <br /> City of Pleasanton on behalf of Donald Arthur Mendenhall, <br /> Teri Caputo, and Teri Caputo as Administratrix of the <br /> Estate of Donald Lanier Mendenhall, deceased, in the sum <br /> of $1,000,000 is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 23, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~ <br />· ~alk~C <br />, lerk ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> · <br />ev~i~e~torney <br /> <br /> <br />
