McCLOUD, POLICE CHIEF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Walt McCloud has had the unique distinction of coming through <br /> the ranks in the field of law enforcement with the City of Pleasanton <br /> and working most diligently with numerous City administrators; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, he truly epitomizes the ideal of a most dedicated and persevering <br /> public servant while holding firmly the reins of his responsibilities; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, his accomplishments are legion during a period of vibrant growth in <br /> this comunity -- a community he holds highly with a staff he harbors <br /> with affection. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton proudly, enthusiastically <br /> and with steepened reverence salutes and honors Walt McCloud for over <br /> three decades of distinguished service for the people of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> HAIL TO THE CHIEFI <br /> <br />This resolution unanimously adopted on January 13, 1981. <br /> <br />Kenneth R.
