CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81~30 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A REZONING OF A 9.35 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PIMLICO DRIVE BETWEEN SANTA RITA ROAD AND BROCKTON DRIVE FROM CF (.COMMERCIAL FREEWAY) TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of February 10, 1981, received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning ~a 9.35 acre site located on the south side of Pimlico Drive between Santa Rita Road and Brockton Drive from CF (Commercial Freeway) to Planned Unit Development; and WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed rezoning is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the Project; and the City Council, at its meeting of February 10, 1981 also received that Initial Study dated December 30, 1980; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considerating the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and the public was afforded ~nto~portunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in "THE VALLEY TIMES," a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed rezoning of a 9.35 acre site located on the south side of Pimlico Drive between Santa Rita Road and Brockton Drive from CF (Commercial Freeway) to Planned Unit Development would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment and therefore no Environmental Impact Report shall be prepared.
