CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-29 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />REZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 10 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON <br />THE SOUTH SIDE OF VINEYARD AVENUE APPROXIMATELY <br />120 FEET WEST OF PICO AVENUE FROM R-1-6500 (SINGLE- <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of February 10, 1981, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a rezoning <br />designation for an approximately 10 acre site located <br />on the south side of Vineyard Avenue Approximately <br />120 feet west of Pico Avenue from R-1-6500 (Single- <br />Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development-Medium Density Residential) District; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEReaS, staff has determined that the proposed rezoning is a <br /> project for~the purposes of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of February 10, 1981, <br />also received that Initial Study dated December 2, 1980; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in "THE VALLEY TIMES," a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council determines that the proposed rezoning <br /> of an approximately 10 acre site located on the south <br /> <br /> <br />
