CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-22 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED FROM JOHN CAROLINE, JR. <br />AND JOAN M. CAROLINE FOR STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to an agreement to grant storm drainage <br />easement between John and Joan Caroline and Joseph <br />E. Madden dated February 6, 1981, the city is in <br />receipt of a quitclaim deed from John and Joan <br />Caroline; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of February 10, 1981, <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this <br />easement is in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Quitclaim Deed from John Caroline, Jr. and Joan <br /> M. Caroline for storm drainage easement is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed <br /> to take whatever action necessary to implement said <br /> acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~R/~E.~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
