CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-21 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER <br />AND AUTHORIZATION TO CALL FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Assistant to the City Manager, by his report dated <br />February 2, 1981, advised the City Council that plans <br />and specifications had been completed for the improve- <br />ment of the Senior Citizens Center and that said plans <br />have been reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council~at their meeting of February 10, 1981, <br /> reviewed the report of the Assistant to the City Manager, <br /> dated February 2, 1981, relating to the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the improve- <br /> ments to the Senior Citizens Center, including roof <br /> repair, interior and exterior painting, resurfacing of the <br /> building's floors and replacement of draperies and curtains. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephard, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />H~e,~City Attorne~~y <br /> <br /> <br />
