CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RENEWAL OF LEASE WITH <br />PLEASANTON'S WOMEN'S CLUB FOR KOTTINGER BUILDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />for the past several years the Pleasanton Women's Club <br />has been leasing the building at the corner of Kottinger <br />Avenue and Regalia (formerly the Kottinger Village <br />cafeteria); and ~. <br /> ~ tv · · ~ <br />the current lease expires on May 6, 19B1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in addition to using the building for their own functions, <br />the Women's Club rents the building and uses the proceeds <br />for projects within the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Women's Club has taken good care of the building <br />and it is to the benefit of the City of Pleasanton to <br />continue the lease agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the renewal of the lease with the Pleasanton <br /> Women's Club under the same terms as the prior lease <br /> except the term of the lease shall be limited to five <br /> (5) years subject to renewal. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the lease agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> A Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br /> ER MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> i ~ City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
