CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-57 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 11 (TWO HOUR PARKING ZONES) BY ADDING SUBSECTION <br />llb-1 REGARDING PARKING ON BLACK AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 10, 1981, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated March 3, 1981 <br />from the Associate Civil Engineer related to the <br />parking problems on Black Avenue in front of the <br />Aquatic Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to establish a time limit for parking on Black <br />Avenue from Santa Rita Road to 100 feet easterly of <br />Loganberry Way. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection llb-1 as follows: <br /> <br />"llb-1 <br /> <br />Black Avenue, on both sides of Black Avenue <br />from Santa Rita Road to 100 feet easterly of <br />Loganberry Way from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. <br />except weekends and holidays. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> TH <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />H~i n~e ~ <br /> City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
