CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-52 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LPWRA REPRESENTATIVES <br />TO VOTE IN FAVOR OF THE LARGE ALTERNATIVE FOR THE <br />REUSE PROJECT IN PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Livermore-Pleasanton Reclamation Agency (LPWRA) has, <br />for the past two years, been working on a water reclama- <br />tion study for the valley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at a special LPWRA meeting scheduled for February 27, 1981, <br />the LPWRA Board plans to select the "Best Apparent Reuse <br />Alternative" on which to continue the study in greater <br />detail; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CH2M Hill, engineers on the LPWRA project, have conducted <br />a feasibility study and an engineering review as to what <br />reclamation plan would make sense for Pleasanton and <br />Livermore and find there are three categories: large, <br />medium and small; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the report of the City Manager, dated February 19, 1981, <br /> the alternatives are described in detail; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the large alternative is favored as it will afford the <br />City of Pleasanton the most flexibility and options in <br />the future. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. Authorizes the LPWRA representatives to vote in favor <br /> of the Large alternative for the Reuse Project in Pleasanton <br /> at the February 26, 1981 LPWRAmeeting. <br /> <br />Section 2.
