CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-51 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR <br />OF FINANCE DATED FEBRUARY 17, 1981 REGARDING <br />MID-YEAR BUDGET REVIEW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of February 24, 1981, <br />received a report from the Director of finance, dated <br />February 17, 1981, presenting a Mid-Year Budget Review <br />and recommending various projects; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />included in the repor~ were staff's recommendations as <br />to how some oft.the' additional funds projected could be <br />spent Within the next five months to resolve some of <br />the Street and park maintenance concerns confronting <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the report of the Director of Finance. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the addition of two Park Maintenance <br /> Workers at a cost of approximately $50,000 per year. <br /> <br />Section 3: Appropriates $30,000 for seal coating approximately <br /> 500,000 square feet of streets. <br /> <br />Section 4: Appropriates $10,000 for sidewalk repairs by contract <br /> for the worst of the existing damaged sidewalk areas. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 24, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />~TR.
