CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR 1981 ALAMEDA <br />COUNTY FAIR PARADE PERMIT FROM AMADOR LIVERMORE <br />VALLEY EXCHANGE CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the CityC0uncil at its meeting of March 24, 1981, <br />received a report dated March 17, 1981 from the <br />Assistant to the City Manager regarding an application <br />from the Amador Livermore Valley Exchange Club for a <br />permit to sponsor the 1981 Alameda County Fair Parade <br />on June 28, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the <br /> application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Amador Livermore Valley <br /> Exchange Club for a permit to sponsor the 1981 Alameda <br /> County Fair Parade on June 28, 1981, to be held in the <br /> City of Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in <br /> the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated <br /> March 17, 1981, subject to all conditions set forth by <br /> the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for the 1980-81 fiscal year is amended <br /> by approximately $1,451 necessary to pay for costs incurred <br /> in relationship to the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 24, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />J ~T <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />~e~i~n~Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
