CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RE~OLUTION NO. 81-68 RESOLUTION APpROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING 0~'APPROXIMATELY 156 ACRES OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIRGROUND SITE IN THE VICINITY OF PLEASANTON AVENUE, ROSE AVENUE AND BERNAL AVENUE FROM "A" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITU- TIONAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of March 10, 1981, received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning approximately 156 acres of the Alameda County Fair- grounds site in the vicinity of Pleasanton Avenue, Rose Avenue and Bernal Avenue from "A" (Agricultural) District to "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 6, 1981 and received the recommenda- tions of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environ- ment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the rezoning of approximately 156 acres of the Alameda County Fairgrounds site in the vicinity of Pleasanton Avenue, Rose Avenue and Bernal Avenue from "A" (Agricultural) District to "P" (Public and Institutional) District. Section 2: The city staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4 (g) of Resolution No. 77-66. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
