CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-84 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ROBERT E. BUTLER AS VICE <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 14, 1981, reorganization of the City Council <br /> tock place. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council does hereby appoint Robert E. Butler <br /> to serve for a period of one year as Vice Mayor of the City <br /> of Pleasanton and presiding member of the City Council <br /> in the absence of the Mayor. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 14, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />nttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
