CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-117 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY <br />TA~ REVENUE FOR ANNEXATION NO. 84 (YEE). <br /> <br />W~EREAS, Section 99 of, the Revenue and Taxation Code (AB 8) <br /> provides among other things, that no local agency <br /> jurisdictional change can be completed without the <br /> agencies affected by such change first having agreed <br /> upon an exchange of property tax revenue between and <br /> among the affected agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Mayors' Conference, the City of <br /> Pleasanton (Resolution No. 80-74) and the Alameda <br /> County Board of Supervisors (Resolution No. 186574) <br /> have a~reed to a method for equitably distributing <br /> the property taxes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such specific annexation needs a resolution from both <br /> the City and County agreeing to the exchange of pro- <br /> perty tax revenues for the annexation to be completed <br /> and filed with the State. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That for the following annexation by the City of <br /> Pleasanton, which will be first effective for the fiscal <br /> year following the filing of the Certificate of Completion <br /> with the State Board of Equalization providing the filing <br /> occurs prior to December 31 of the preceding year, the <br /> Auditor-Controller of the County of Alameda shall be <br /> directed to cause an exchange of property tax revenues <br /> pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs numbers (1 or 2) <br /> and 3 of the attached City/County agreement: <br /> <br /> Annexation No. 84 - Yee property. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the property tax proceeds accruing for the <br /> Structural Fire Fund shall be transferred to the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON APRIL 28, 1981, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
