CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.81-106A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR REMOVAL OF TWO <br />HOUSES FROM PROPERTY PURCHASED FROM NARCISA R. <br />GARCIA AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has <br />from Narcisa R. Garcia for <br />Avenue; and <br /> <br />purchased a parcel of land <br />construction of Peters <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there are two houses presently located on the property <br />which staff intends to offer for sale for relocation <br />or dismantling for reusable material; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in the event one or both of these houses are bought <br />for relocation within city limits, the city should <br />agree to allow the purchase of sewer connection for <br />each, provided all requirements of City codes are met; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in the event the two houses are not sold, staff will <br />call for bids for the demolition and removal of the <br />houses. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plan for removal of the two houses on <br /> the property purchased from Narcisa R. Garcia. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the calling for bids for the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes selling of sewer permits for one or both <br /> of the above-described houses for a period of twelve <br /> (12) months following relocation within the City of <br /> Pleasanton of one or both of the above houses. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 28, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> <br /> R.'JaWa y Clerk ~ine~,' ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
