CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-159 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RE: ACQUISITION OF FEDERAL SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has received the attached reso- <br />lution form from the State of California for use in <br />acquiring federal surplus property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the resolution form and the <br /> nominated agents for the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREOFRE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the City Manager and Mr. Alfred H. Mitchell, <br /> Assistant Director of the Alameda County Office of <br /> Emergency Services, to acquire on behalf of the City <br /> of Pleasanton federal surplus property available through <br /> the California State Agency for Surplus Property under <br /> the terms and conditions listed on the attached form. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City Official to sign the <br /> attached State form of Resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 26, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br /> R.
