CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81-153 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM JOSEPH J. BOUGHLOSKY <br />AND LOIS BOUGHLOSKY, HIS WIFE, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />PETERS AVENUE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Right of Way Department has succeeded <br /> in acquiring, on behalf of the City of Pleasanton, a <br /> parcel of land from Joseph J. Boughlosky and Lois <br /> Boughlosky, his wife; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this land is necessary for the construction of Peters <br /> Avenue from Rose Avenue to Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the documents and finds everything to <br /> be in order including the purchase price, which conforms <br /> to the appraisal accepted by the County on behalf of <br /> the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of May 26, 1981, the City Council <br /> reviewed a report from the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this Grant <br /> Deed is in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes acceptance of the Grant Deed from Joseph <br /> J. Boughlosky and Lois Boughlosky, his wife, to the City <br /> of Pleasanton for purposes of constructing Peters Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the Certificate of <br /> Acceptance of Real Property. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorizes staff to deposit $3,330.00 into escrow for <br /> the purchase of said property. <br /> <br />Section 4. Authorizes the Director of Public Works and Mayor to <br /> execute the Real Property Purchase Contract. <br /> <br />Section 5.
