CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-145 WHEREAS; RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NO. 2 TO THE AUGUST 13, 1980 AGREEMENT WITH CH2M HILL AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE TASK ORDER the City. of Pleasanton is authorized by the Livermore- Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVWMA) to take the lead in the 1 MGD industrial/non-retail commercial expansion of the LAVWMA pipeline facility; and WHEREAS the City entered into an agreement with CH2M Hill to perform the engineering work related to the expansion, with jobs to be directed by task order; and WHEREAS, Task Order No. 1 included completion of a study to determine the most cost effective way of increasing the capacity in the pipeline and preparation of an initial study and the appropriate environmental impact documents to meet CEQA requirements; and WHEREAS, all work authorized under Task Order No. 1 has been completed; and WHEREAS, on April 17, 1981, the LAVWMA Board of Directors held a public hearing at which they determined a negative declaration was appropriate and selected the project to create the additional 1 MGD capacity; and WHEREAS, the next step is to proceed with preparation of the detailed engineering drawings and specifications to go to bid; and WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with CH2M Hill for these services, however, the approval of Task Order No. 2 is required to authorize the engineers to proceed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves Task Order No. 2 to the August 13, 1980 Agreement with CH2M Hill for preparation of the detailed engineering drawings and specifications to go to bid. Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to sign the Task Order on behalf of the City.
