CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-177 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR PARADE PERMIT <br />FROM FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL BAND REVIEW COMMITTEE <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of June 9, 1981, <br />received a report dated June 4, 1981, from the <br />Assistant to the City Manager regarding an application <br />from the Foothill Band Review Committee for a permit <br />to hold their seventh annual band review parade on <br />October 24, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recorm-nended that the City Council approve the <br /> application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application by the Foothill Band Review <br /> Committee for a permit to hold their seventh annual band <br /> review parade on October 24, 1981, to be held in the <br /> City of Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in <br /> the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated <br /> June 4, 1981, subject to all conditions set forth by <br /> the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1981-82 is amended by <br /> allocating $1,699 necessary to pay for costs incurred <br /> for city personnel associated with the parade. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JUNE 9, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~~.~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> TE ST: <br /> <br /> · Walk lerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~vin/e, ~orney <br /> <br /> <br />
