CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-174 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY ADDING <br />SUBSECTION llv-1 LIMITING PARKING TO TWO HOURS <br />IN CITY'S PRESCHOOL ON VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, from time to time, the City Council has amended Resolution <br /> No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 9, 1981, the City Council received <br />and discussed a report dated June 3, 1981 from the <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities related to the <br />problem of unauthorized parking in the City's preschool <br />parking lot on Vineyard Avenue; and <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to limit parking to two hours in the preschool <br />parking lot on Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br /> Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by <br /> adding subsection llv-1 as follows: <br /> <br />"llv-1 Vineyard Avenue, in the parking lot for the City's <br /> preschool on Vineyard Avenue." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JUNE 9, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FOR}i: <br /> <br />i City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
