CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-172 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF STREET DEDICATION AND PUBLIC <br />SERVICE EASEMENT - VINE STREET, JOSEPH MADDEN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of an offer of dedication from <br />Joseph Madden of a parcel of property for Vine Street <br />and contiguous public service easements on both sides <br />of Vine Street, along with a public service easement <br />along the frontage of Vineyard Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at their meeting of June 9, 1981, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this <br />dedication is in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The offer of dedication from Joseph Madden in the <br /> formof a Grant Deed to the City of Pleasanton for a <br /> parcel of property for Vine Street and contiguous public <br /> service easements on both sides of Vine Street, along <br /> with a public service easement along the frontage of <br /> Vineyard Avenue is hereby accepted and the appropriate <br /> City officers are instructed to take whatever action <br /> necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 9, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
