CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-167 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SUBTERRANEAN WATER <br />AND QUITCLAIM OF CITY RIGHTS OF SURFACE ENTRY FOR <br />ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NOS. 946-1100-16-1 AND 946-1100-19, <br />GEORGE OAKES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of June 9, 1981, <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicatingt~mt the acceptance of <br />a quitclaim deed for subterranean water and execution <br />of a quitclaim deed from the City of Pleasanton for <br />surface entry rights relating to extraction of water <br />are in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes quitclaim of surface entry rights, and <br /> easements, if any, related to the extraction of water <br /> on Assessor's Parcel Nos. 946-110-16-1 and 946-1100-19. <br /> <br />Section 2: Accepts a quitclaim deed for subterranean waters, <br /> without rights of surface entry for the above-listed <br /> Assessor's Parcels. and the appropriate City officers <br /> are instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 9, 1981 BY TIm FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None ~jR~' ~ <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~tyZ MAYORR.
