CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-188 <br /> <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF PROPOSED CITY <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at their meeting of May 13, 1981, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of case Z-81-46, the application <br />of Pleasanton Council Chambers, Inc. for design review <br />of a proposed addition to the Civic Center building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since the property is located in the Civic Overlay District, <br /> final design must be approved by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />because of the small size of the addition, it is class- <br />ified as a categorical exemption under CEQA and no <br />environmental document accompanies this case; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Council received a report from the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development dated June 2, 1981 <br />regarding the proposed addition. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves case Z-81-46, the proposed City Council <br /> chambers and public meeting room to be added to the <br /> Civic Center building, subject to all the conditions <br /> listed in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TttIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JUNE 9, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />A ~ <br /> C <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />H City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
