CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-185 RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY TWO ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF PALOMINO DRIVE BETWEEN PICO AVENUE AND CONCORD STREET FROM "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" TO "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 9, 1981, the City Council received an application from Brielh Homes, Inc. for a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan amendment to change the land use designation of an approximately two acre site located on the east side of Palomino Drive between Pico Avenue and Concord Street from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential;" and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 22, 1981 and received the recommenda- tions of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed amendment to the General Plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the amend- ment of the General Plan land use designation for an approximately two acre site located on the east side of Palomino Drive between Pico Avenue and Concord Street from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential." Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
