CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-185 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY TWO ACRE SITE <br />LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF PALOMINO DRIVE BETWEEN <br />PICO AVENUE AND CONCORD STREET FROM "COMMERCIAL <br />AND OFFICES" TO "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 9, 1981, the City Council <br />received an application from Brielh Homes, Inc. <br />for a proposed negative declaration for a General <br />Plan amendment to change the land use designation <br />of an approximately two acre site located on the <br />east side of Palomino Drive between Pico Avenue <br />and Concord Street from "Commercial and Offices" <br />to "High Density Residential;" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated April 22, 1981 and received the recommenda- <br />tions of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed amendment to <br />the General Plan would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the amend- <br /> ment of the General Plan land use designation for an <br /> approximately two acre site located on the east side <br /> of Palomino Drive between Pico Avenue and Concord Street <br /> from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential." <br /> <br />Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) <br /> of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
