CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-184 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF AN APPROXIMATELY 91.5+ ACRE SITE, LOCATED BETWEEN <br />1-580, THE STONERIDGEMA[L ROAD, STONERIDGE DRIVE <br />AND 1-680, FROM "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL," "OPEN <br />SPACE (PARKS AND RECREATION)" AND "COMerUNITY FACILITIES <br />(SCHOOLS)" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES," "HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL," AND "OPEN SPACE (PARKS)" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 9, 1981, the City Council received <br />a proposed mitigated negative declaration for a change <br />to the General Plan land use designation of an approxi- <br />mately 91.5+ acre site, located between 1-580, the <br />Stoneridge mall Road, Stoneridge Drive and 1-680, from <br />"High Density Residential," "Open Space (Parks and <br />Recreation" and "Community Facilities (School)" to <br />"Commercial and Offices," "High Density Residential," <br />and "Open Space (Parks);" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated May 5, 1981 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />change; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of mitigated negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in reviewing the Initial Study, the City Council has <br />determined that there may be significant impacts upon <br />the environment, but that conditions of approval would <br />render these potential impacts insignificant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> change to the General Plan land use designation of an <br /> approximately 91.5+ acre site, located between 1-580, <br /> the Stoneridge MalI Road, Stoneridge Drive and 1-680, <br /> from "High Density Residential," "Open Space (Parks <br /> and Recreation)" and "Community Facilities (Schools)" to <br /> <br /> <br />
