CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING REFERENDUM PETITION <br />FOR CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDINANCE NO. 973 <br /> <br />Wt{EP~EAS, <br /> <br />a petition with 2,726 signatures was submitted to the <br />City Clerk on June 11, 1981 to referend Ordinance <br />973 approving the Meyer Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the petition was forwarded to the Alameda County Registrar <br /> of Voters for verification of the signatures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Registrar has reviewed the signatures and certified <br />that sufficient qualified signatures were on the <br />petition. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council hereby certifies that the required number <br /> of signatures have been received to referend Ordinance <br /> No. 973. <br /> <br />Section 2: Continues until August 11, 1981 consideration of whether <br /> to repeal Ordinance No. 973 or call an election. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 14, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />A~ ~n e ~~R ~ 4A <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
