CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-214 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR REMOVAL OF BE~S "A", "B" AND "C" AND FILLING <br />OF EVAPORATION POND AND SLUDGE BED RE~DVAL A~D <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CALL FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />by his report of July 7, 1981, the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities has advised the City Council that <br />plans and specifications have been completed for the <br />removal of berms "A", "B" and "C" and filling of <br />Evaporation Pond and Sludge Bed removal, which work <br />is required by the City's lease for City of San <br />Francisco Water Department Droperty; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the plans and recommends approval; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at their meeting of July 14, 1981, <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities relating to the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> removal of berms "A", "B" and "C" and filling of <br /> evaporation pond and sludge bed removal. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 14, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~ <br /> Walker, Ci <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORII: <br />~~~Levfne, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
