CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-213 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT BET~EEN CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON AND FAI.{ILY TUTORIAL PROGRAM, INC. <br />FOR VETERANS' BUILDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Family Tutorial Program, Inc. has leased the Veterans' <br />Building for use as a congregate meal site and supportive <br />recreational, information, referral, education and out- <br />reach services for approximately sixty-five senior <br />citizens daily for the past three years; and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, a new lease has been negotiated for the 1981-82 lease <br /> period with no changes from last year's lease; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Council received a report from the Director of <br />Recreation and Human Resources reviewing the program <br />and the lease terms and recommending renex~al of the <br />lease. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the lease agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and Family Tutorial Program, Inc. for <br /> non-exclusive use of the Veterans' Building for the <br /> period June 30, 1981 to June 30, 1982. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 14, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ~alker, City rk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Lev(ne~, City A~ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
