CITY COUNCIL OF TIm CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUntY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-210 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORAIDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON <br />FIREFIGHTERS INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE <br />FIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974, AND FIXING SALARIES AND <br />CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES <br />OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1981-82 BUDGET <br />ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br />as employer representative of the City Council, and <br />representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters International <br />Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1974, have met and <br />conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, <br />et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, <br />hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for <br />members of the Pleasanton Firefighters International <br />Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above meeting and conferring process <br />a Memorandum of Understanding dated June 10, 1981, was <br />entered into between the City Manager and representatives <br />of the Pleasanton Firefighters International Association <br />of Fire Fighters, Local 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at the regular meeting of June 23, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> Firefighters International Association of Fire Fighters, <br /> Local 1974, for a term commencing April 1, 1981 through <br /> June 30, 1982, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br /> herein, by reference, is hereby accepted by the City <br /> Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to the terms <br /> and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of Fire <br /> Fighters, Local 1974, during the period April 1, 1981 <br /> through June 30, 1982, shall be set forth in the Memorandum <br /> of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br /> incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
