CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE <br />"RESUSITATOR ANNIES" AND AME~YDING THE 1981-82 <br />BUDGET OF THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Recreation Department has on several occasions <br />requested the purchase of three additional "Resusitator <br />Annies" in order to expand their courses relative to <br />water safety; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed this request at their meeting <br /> of July 28, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, TIm CITY COUNCIL OF TttE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the purchase of three (3) "Resusitator <br /> Annies" by the Recreation Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: Amends the 1981-82 budget of the Recreation Department <br /> to provide for the above purchases. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 28, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br /> ATTEST: t <br /> <br /> CER,KET <br />am~esR. ~lke~~erk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />~eyE~evine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
