CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-235 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEllENT FROM <br />CASTLEWOOD ENTERPRISES TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A BIILE LANE ON SUNOL BOULEVAPD <br /> <br />W~{EREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Grant of Easement deed <br />from Castlewood Enterprises to the City of Pleasanton <br />for a two foot widening of an existing sidewalk so <br />that an area wide enough to accommodate a bike lane <br />along Sunol Boulevard might be developed; and <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />at their meeting of July 28, 1981, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this <br />deed is in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, TtlEREFORE, Ttt CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant of Easement from Castlewood Enterprises <br /> to the City of Pleasanton for a two foot widening of <br /> an existing sidewalk to allow construction of a bike <br /> lane along Sunol Boulevard is hereby accepted and the <br /> appropriate City officers are instructed to take <br /> whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JULY 28, 1981 BY Tt~ FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and I{ayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart ~R <br /> <br />Jam R W <br /> <br /> .MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FOP~: <br /> <br />I in~, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
